Why I'm Participating
I've enjoyed bike riding since first learning to ride a bike as a child. As an adult, mountain biking has given me the motivation to push myself to exercise and enjoy seeing parts of our beautiful country I otherwise would have never visited.
Two years ago I began volunteering as a Geerz assistant instructor and most recently joined the team for the 2024/25 riding season as the Head Instructor for the Ramat Bet Shemesh riding groups. In both of these roles I've had the opportunity to see first hand the work that Geerz does for at-risk children and teens and the impact this work has had. My son has also been benefitting from the Geerz program and it has helped him build his self confidence and his biking skills. I believe that this is a worthwhile cause and would appreciate your donation to help Geerz continue doing its wonderful work.
