On March 23-25, I will once again be participating in my NINTH annual Geerz charity ride. Geerz operates an incredibly innovative and effective therapeutic mountain biking program that is offered free of charge to hundreds of kids in youth villages and special education programs throughout the country. This year, Geerz dramatically expanded its activities in order to provide many special programs for kids who were evacuated from their homes throughout the North and South of the country. Most of these kids are suffering from profound war-related PTSD and other significant social disorders and anxieties. Geerz also opened over a dozen new groups in youth villages, some of whom are participating in a competitive racing league.
