Due to the war in March, the ride was postponed to May 24-26 2026 , I'm participating in a two-day bike ride in Israel to support an incredible organization called **Geerz**. Geerz is a program that uses mountain biking to help children overcome various challenges like ADD/ADHD, social and behavioral issues, low self-esteem, anger management, family dysfunction, anxiety, eating disorders, and PTSD. **Their unique approach combines biking lessons with life lessons, giving kids the tools to cope and thrive.****Right now, the need for Geerz in Israel is greater than ever.** The ongoing conflicts, family members being called up for reserve duty, and the constant stress of living in a conflict zone take a heavy toll on children. Geerz operates in **Gaza periphery and development towns**, and in **youth villages/orphanages**, reaching children in some of the most vulnerable communities. These children desperately need Geerz, but their families are unable to afford the program's highly subsidized tuition.
