So proud to be getting ready for my 7th year with Geerz. I feel blessed to have witnessed firsthand how Geerz is changing the lives of kids across Israel, helping with a range of challenges such as ADHD, PTSD, childhood obesity, anxiety, etc. I was really on the fence about year 7 but given how much Geerz has been doing to help orphans from the Ukraine to feel like normal kids and to put a smile back on their faces, I knew I had to be a part of the ride again this year! There is such a tremendous demand for the program, for these kids that just want to be normal but face the sad reality that their worlds have been turned upside down--no parents, new language, new country. So proud to be getting ready for my 7th year with Geerz. I feel blessed to have witnessed firsthand how Geerz is changing the lives of kids across Israel, helping with a range of challenges such as ADHD, PTSD, childhood obesity, anxiety, etc.

I was really on the fence about year 7 but given how much Geerz has been doing to help orphans from the Ukraine to feel like normal kids and to put a smile back on their faces, I knew I had to be a part of the ride again this year! There is such a tremendous demand for the program, for these kids that just want to be normal but face the sad reality that their worlds have been turned upside down--no parents, new language, new country. So many are dealing with some form of PTSD and Geerz provides them with a healthy outlet, to let them feel like a normal kid on a bike, with the wind in their hair (under their helmets of course) and the sun shining on their face.

So, let’s do this people!

Last year with your generous support, we raised almost $4000 and were instrumental in getting kids on bikes this past fall.

Funds from this year’s ride will be used to expand programming to hundreds of kids throughout Israel!
