I’m excited to share that I’m participating in a charity bike ride later this month in the Negev desert to raise money for Geerz, a non-profit organization that runs therapeutic mountain biking programs for kids in Israel who face social and/or psychological challenges, including PTSD, and including children displaced from their homes since October 7. Geerz programs provide kids with critical life skills learned through mountain biking, away from their screens and out on the open trails of Israel, including team-building, problem solving, overcoming challenges and handling frustration. These programs help kids build resilience to overcome emotional, social, and mental health challenges, ranging from trauma and anxiety to low self-esteem and anger management.
