On March 19th, I will be participating in a two-day mountain bike ride in the hills of Israel to raise money for a unique organization named Geerz. Geerz literally transforms the lives of hundreds of Israeli kids through a highly innovative and effective therapeutic mountain biking program. These kids suffer from a wide range of issues such as ADHD, PTSD, anxiety, eating disorders, anger management and autism and Geerz has created a customized curriculum to develop communication, self-confidence, problem solving and teamwork. On March 19th, I will be participating in a two-day mountain bike ride in the hills of Israel to raise money for a unique organization named Geerz. Geerz literally transforms the lives of hundreds of Israeli kids through a highly innovative and effective therapeutic mountain biking program. These kids suffer from a wide range of issues such as ADHD, PTSD, anxiety, eating disorders, anger management and autism and Geerz has created a customized curriculum to develop communication, self-confidence, problem solving and teamwork. Geerz works even where conventional therapy has failed. In fact, over 75% of Geerz participants are referred by education and mental health professionals.

This year, Geerz has expanded its therapeutic mountain biking programs to Israel's periphery and development towns such as Sderot, which is precisely where the kids need it the most but can afford it the least. The demand in these areas is enormous. However, since the families of these kids cannot afford to pay for the program, Geerz has to raise funds for virtually the entire cost of these programs, $1,660 per child and $20,000 for a group of 12. So, please be my partner in supporting this remarkable organization by generously sponsoring my ride. My goal is to raise a minimum of $5,000. I have seen first-hand the amazing work that Geerz does and I personally know quite a few children in my community who have made incredible strides as a result, so every extra dollar helps this magic happen.
