A Father-Son Journey for Geerz: Riding for Resilience

This year, my annual Geerz charity ride is going to be twice as meaningful. I am thrilled to announce that my son, Azriel, will be joining me for this grueling two-day mountain bike trek through Northern Israel from March 15–17.

Double the Effort, Double the Impact

With two of us on the trail, we have set a collective goal of $7,200. This is a big challenge, but one we are taking on with excitement as a team.

A Special Milestone for Azriel

Azriel is currently serving in the IDF and will be completing his service this January. As he transitions back to civilian life, he wanted his first major project to be one of giving back. Azriel has a special place in his heart for Geerz, having previously volunteered with their programs for kids in Beit Shemesh.

He has seen firsthand how the combination of exercise and mentorship can change a child's life. As a father, I am incredibly proud to ride alongside him. We both value the physical and mental strength that mountain biking provides, and we are excited to be riding together.

The Mission: Healing through the Handlebars

Geerz operates an innovative therapeutic mountain biking program offered free of charge to hundreds of children in youth villages and special education programs across Israel. Today, their work is more critical than ever:

• Healing Trauma: Many kids suffer from war-related PTSD and anxiety.



• Building Confidence: The Geerz curriculum helps kids navigate life's obstacles with resilience.



• Funding the Future: This ride provides the funds necessary to keep these programs running.
