Geerz is an organisation that operates an incredibly innovative and effective therapeutic mountain biking program, that is offered free of charge to hundreds of kids in youth villages and special education programs throughout the country. Mountain biking is used as a tool to help kids heal emotionally, and develop psychologically, and their results are tremendous. As a parent, I have personally witnessed the power of their program, and as a therapist, I firmly believe that programs such as this are a deeply effective of helping kids heal – sometimes, more so than therapy sessions.On March 23-25, I will be participating in the annual Geerz charity ride with a specific goal in mind. Geerz is an organisation that operates an incredibly innovative and effective therapeutic mountain biking program, that is offered free of charge to hundreds of kids in youth villages and special education programs throughout the country. Mountain biking is used as a tool to help kids heal emotionally, and develop psychologically, and their results are tremendous. As a parent, I have personally witnessed the power of their program, and as a therapist, I firmly believe that programs such as this are a deeply effective of helping kids heal – sometimes, more so than therapy sessions.

On March 23-25, I will be participating in the annual Geerz charity ride with a specific goal in mind. Geerz has been asked to open special groups for the youth villages in Kibbutz Sa'ad. This Kibbutz sits along the Gaza border and all its inhabitants were evacuated for well over a year and have just recently returned to a fragile and tense quiet. Needless to say, the trauma experienced by these kids is nearly unfathomable. I have taken it upon myself to raise funds for three deserving and needy kids for this program. The cost is $1800 per kid, and my goal is thus $5400. Please be my partner in this critical endeavor by generously sponsoring my ride campaign and helping Geerz alleviate the suffering of these kids.
