Why I'm Participating
I am very excited to be taking part, for the fourth time, in the annual Geerz ride fundraiser. I know first-hand how beneficial the Geerz program is as a previous instructor. I led a group of 12 boys, aged 10-14. The boys in my group were amazing and I witnessed improvements in their growth, mental health, and well-being.
Biking has always been an important part of my life, whether for commuting to work, exercise, leisure, and spending quality time with my kids. I know that it has a tremendous benefit for mental health and can be used as an effective method of therapy. The Geerz program is truly amazing and I am happy to help support it and be part of it.
