Why I'm Participating
As some of you know, my family and I made Aliyah this past June. The first 3 months were particularly hard for all of us, and me in particular. I work American hours and had the whole morning and early afternoon free. On our Yishuv and in Israel in general off-road AKA. Mountain biking is very popular, as the roads are quite dangerous to ride. I got into biking and as I did, I found this amazing community and organization called GEERZ. I started volunteering for them and can honestly say it saved me, not to mention the hundreds of kids they "save" every year.
