The legendary Get Into Geerz (GIG) ride gets bigger and better each year and boy do we have plans for this year. For the tenth consecutive year, Geerz is organizing something HUGE: A TWO-DAY bike ride in the spectacular mountain trails of the Galilee. The majestic splendor of the rolling biblical terrain of Israel’s north awaits you. Excellent accommodations in the beautiful Kibbutz Lavi Hotel. Surprises at every turn. Bonding like you are back in College and a Mitzva that will last forever. This unforgettable event will raise money to enable hundreds of deserving kids and soldiers across Israel to experience the life-transforming Geerz program.

Geerz imbues at-promise youth with critical life skills learned through mountain biking, far from their screens and out on the open trails of Israel. The program incorporates physical activity, team-building, problem-solving, and empowers the kids to surmount challenges and frustration. Geerz participants see increased productivity in school and more happiness at home. Pediatricians and therapists report that Geerz gives their patients a healthy, constructive release and the indispensable gift of self-esteem.
